Our Founder
Marjon Carlos is a journalist, brand consultant, and creative producer based in New York. Her background in storytelling — rooted in years of editorial work for Vogue, The Cut, ELLE, Vanity Fair, and Refinery29 — shapes a unique approach to brand-building that centers cultural insight, narrative depth, and editorial acuity.
A former Senior Fashion Writer at Vogue, Marjon’s writing has explored the intersection of style, identity, and culture, informed by her academic research in Gender and African American Studies at Brown and Columbia Universities. This perspective continues to inform her consultancy work with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands seeking to connect meaningfully with diverse audiences.
Marjon has been featured by outlets including Vogue, Essence, Harper’s Bazaar, and Domino, and frequently appears as a speaker and moderator for conversations across fashion, media, and culture.
In 2023, she expanded her IGTV advice series Your Favorite Auntie Show into a weekly podcast powered by Cash App, further blending her editorial voice with community-driven storytelling.
She is currently at work on her first book with Ballantine / Penguin Random House, and authors a weekly newsletter, Notes From Auntie’s Desk.
